a clinician with Steve Elliott (8 time World Tumbling Champion), with Kelly Garrisonn, with Scott Bull (Assistant Coach at U.C.L.A.), and at Woodward Gymnastics Camp. Ky‘s former gymnasts have received scholarships at universities such as Ball State and Central Michigan University. Ky’s wife, Carrie, continues to be a leader in the judging arena in our state, our region, and the nation!!!

JKy Shaw is C.I.T.T.’s primary judge. This Michigan native was formerly the Gym Manager for Peoria Gym and the Team Director for The Clubs of River City. He is currently the owner of C.I.G.A. where he trains levels 4 through 10 on all four Olympic Women’s
Apparatus Events. This season (2016-2017) he has joined ownership of C.I.T.T. along with coaching our athletes.
Ky, himself, was introduced to the sport of tumbling and gymnastics as an athlete. The following are a few of his athletic accomplishments: 1992, 6 th Place-U.S.A.A.F. National Championships; 1991, 2 nd Place-Volkov Cup-Soviet Union; 1990, 3 rd Place-U.S.S.F. Nationals Team Member; 1989, 3 rd Place- U.S.G.F. Elite Gymnast Representing the state of Michigan; and 1988, 23 rd Place-Vault and Floor U.S.G.F. National Finals.
For Ky, coaching proved to be a natural progression. His coaching experience includes coaching regional and national champions in U.S.A.I.G.C., U.S.A.A.F., and U.S.G.F.; serving as Assistant Director of Tumbling at Woodward Gymnastics Camp in Pennsylvania; coaching a squad to first place in a national cheerleading competition; and serving as
